Easter!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!! I'm so thankful for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and for the atonement he made for each and everyone us. I hope we can remember this all year and not just at Easter time.

As is the norm for Easter we had an Easter Egg hunt. The kids were so excited. Grandma and Grandpa had bought great big eggs and filled them with toys for the kids and each grand kid had to go and find their own egg along with the other little eggs found. Tate didn't get very many little eggs because he was to concerned about finding his big egg (which was buried in the sand box with just his name showing on it. Kylie found hers first off and was very excited. Kaden didn't get the whole concept and just wanted to play. Haylie thought she was never going to find her egg. She looked high and low and ever where she could think of...after finally asking for a hint, she found out that her dad hid it so she could never find it. It was in Grandpas truck which was not part of the legal hiding places for eggs.

This morning I thought the girls were sleeping in (Ha,Ha) so I went to wake them up. They were both on Haylie's bed going through all the little toys that they had received. Kylie actually didn't complain once this morning about going to school because she was too busy inspecting everything she had found and all that grandma had fit in her big egg. And we were luckily only 5 minutes late getting out the door for school.

Thanks mom and dad for putting on the egg hunt for the kids. They loved it!!! Mandie and Conrad we missed you and wished you and the kids were there.
