Social networking-Facebook is okay as long as you only allow friends, but do not okay friends of friends.
Instant MessagingThink before you post, have children ask before they post videos. Instant messaging their friends is okay, as a parent know "who" they are IMing but not what.
Chat Rooms-NOT SAFE never allow
Gmail is the safest email to have.

Teach your kids to be safe on the internet
1-Listen to kids about what they are doing online
2-Stay informed
3-Have rules at your house and talk to your kids friends parents and let them know your rules for your child when they are there.
4-Teach Safe Habits
5-Install Monitors (best monitors are K9 and onlinefamily.norton these 2 work together and are the best)
6-Stay updated with what is going on with your kids
7-Protect personal information
8-Be active in your community
