Ups and Downs

For President's Day weekend we headed to St. George for a soccer tournament. Last year was beautiful and we didn't want to come home. We were hoping/thinking this year would be the same....not quite
+ Got to see Grandma and Grandpa
+Haylie scored the only score that the opposing team had against them the whole tournament.
+Made it back to the hotel just in time on Saturday (Audrie was sick)
+Hotel was free (1 perk to Tom traveling)
+With enough electronics we didn't hear a peep out of our kids on the long car ride to and from.
+A family vacation we most likely will not soon forget.
+Snow Canyon is beautiful
+Got to watch very touching videos in the Visitor Center at the Temple.
-Tate sick the whole time. Friday when it was decent weather he was so sick he couldn't even get out of the bed.
-Cold, wet, muddy miserable weather (just like home) it even snowed.
-I was sick for 2 days
-It was too cold and rainy so kids had to play in the car during Haylie's games instead of playing at the park.

Grandma always has games for us to play. The kids loving to go see them and see what new game she has come up with.
Kylie and grandpa went out and picked nuts off their nut trees!
Snow Canyon was beautiful. We so wished we were dressed in better clothes. The kids would have loved to climb around all the beautiful rocks.

Haylie making her dad proud by being aggressive and pushing back! Haylie's team made it to the semi finals. They played awesome and did a great job even though they were missing 3 starters. Haylie even scored the only score against the opposing team for the whole tournament.
