Wellsville Mile

The Wellsville Mile is where all 4th and 5th graders in the south end of the valley run a mile against each other. There are 3 heats/girls and 3 for boys. It was suppose to be on Tuesday but they changed it to today due to rain......they should have stuck to Tuesday where it didn't rain until the afternoon. Unlike today where it started raining when they got to the school and quit raining when they were done running and home. They were soaked, freezing and still had fun (only kids can have fun in the freezing rain, or maybe it's all those soccer games this season that have been in the rain, wind, and snow...) Haylie was able to place 4th in her heat and she beat her time last year by running it in 8 min 7 secs.
