This summer we are going to have a Bernhardt Bordem Buster Box! I'm going to put fun things and work things in the box (make cookies, pull 100 weeds etc...) Then any time they say the dreaded words "I'm bored" or when they fight they have to pick something out of the box and they take the chance of it being work or fun. So if you have any grand ideas that I could put in my box please leave me a comment!

Cleaning the Cullumber's house is not a bad idea. They wouldn't complain about being bored for some time after I'm sure!!! Cute Idea!
bug hunt, water balloons, water balloon volleyball with towels, sweep garage, empty garbages, toothpick and marshmallow houses, homemade ice cream in a ziploc, color/paint cardboard box to look like a car and have a drive inn movie, wash van, have a mini car wash with a spray bottle and cotton balls and hot wheels cars, make edible playdough, side walk chalk, picnic, make popsicles, treasure hunt, wash windows, wipe down blinds, dust, organize toys, paint rocks, pool party, water fight, go to mcdonald's for a 0.50 cone (at least here in boise), wax van, wash bikes, go for a walk or bike ride, go to dollar store and each pick one thing. and last...my personal favorite...TAKE A NAP!

fold the laundry, wash the clothes, spot the clothes, put away clothes, pull out clothes that don't fit. I might have a bit of a hate hate relationship with laundry
walk the dog (or if you don't have a dog, walk the neighbor's dog), jump on the trampoline, vacuum under the couch cushions (which might be rewarding if they find coins), read to a younger sibling for 15 minutes, practice the piano, clean the litter box, run around the outside of the house as many times as you've had birthdays, have a bicycle parade with your siblings, go catch a bug, google a strange word of mom's choosing, sort & match socks, wash a mirror or window, wash all light switch covers, make a treasure hunt for the next FHE, read the Friend, tidy your bedroom for 5 minutes, find 3 things to donate to DI/Goodwill, write a letter to a missionary/grandma/someone far away.
