We're back!

Since Tom has been gone for work most of the summer we decided to "dadnap" him and go for a trip to Yellowstone! My sister and parents joined us for our journey. We camped (and froze, it was around 33 degrees the first night), seen animals, ate lunch within 50 yards of a bunch of elk, hiked and hiked and hiked (and sang pioneer children sang as they walked and walked....) We seen beautiful geysers, waterfalls, Old Faithful and so much more!

After Yellowstone we headed to Jackson Hole. On the way we stopped at a little picnic area and took a family photo with the beautiful Teton Mountains in the back ground. When in Jackson we went to Teton Village and rode the Tram up to the top of Rendezvous Mountain and got to ride a ski lift and pray that Kaden wouldn't fall out as he kept leaning over to see everything below. The kids then had fun shopping at all the little stores in Jackson Hole trying to find the perfect souvenir.

It was a wonderful little family vacation! We are now home, exhausted, and ready for a vacation way from our vacation, before school starts next week!!!
