Santa Came to our House

For family home evening tonight we decided to have our own nativity, to help the kids understand a little more about Christmas. It was fun watching them be Mary, Joesph, angel, and wise men. Kylie was the lucky one who was the inn keeper, the angel and a shepherd who got to hold baby Jesus. It was really cute to watch how carefully they held "baby Jesus" and didn't treat the doll as any other.

Santa came to our house to visit already!!! Okay, actually my dad had to play Santa for my brother in law's work party and he needed a place to change. He brought his cute little elf with him too (my mom). Kaden was still terrified even though he knew it was grandpa and watched him put the wig, beard and hat on. One day he will figure out what Santa is all about.

Merry Christmas Bernhardts! Cutest Santa and Elf-we're gonna miss the traditional family Christmas, but hope to start some fun traditions on our own. Enjoy your white Christmas for us!

Very cute! I don't think we will get snow in Texas, but we have been getting enough of the cold.
