For those interested this is my nice little hole in the ceiling. Luckily it is against the wall and not out in the middle so I don't notice it too bad, and I'm not going crazy yet that it isn't fixed. The other picture is of the pipe they cut out that had the nail in it and was causing our wonderful little leak!

Michael remodeled our house in Idaho, it took about 2 years to complete. I feel for you...construction and repair are hard so hang in there!
