Super busy, crazy, but all fun!!!

This past week has been completely busy and crazy (and I have been sick for half of it and still trying to recoup). Last Wed. we had Tom's brother and his wife and 5 kids come and stay with us. They left on Thursday late afternoon! The kids had a lot of fun with them. Friday morning we got up early and went to Burley Id (a couple hours away) to see my dad. He has been working up there for 7-8 months and he lives in a trailer in the buildings parking lot 6 days a week. Could you imagine not even getting to even leave work to go home, ugh. After that we continued on to Twin Falls where they have just built a temple. We went to the Open House for the tour. It was so beautiful. It was really amazing when we stepped inside the Celestial Room nobody(out of 40+ adults and kids) made a sound while we were in there. It was such a spiritual experience to have that feeling of peace and being close to Our Savior. And sure enough as soon as we took one step outside that room the kids started making their little noises again. We then continued on up to Boise to see my sister and play there a bit. We went to Chuck E Cheese (kids choice of course), swam in the hotel pool, zoo, splash pad, PoJo's and played at my sisters apartment. In the our motel room the kids had a blast pretending that the sliding glass doors to the closet was their elevator. I think they could play that forever!!!
Saturday night we headed home. We got home around 11:30 p.m. and then around noon on Sunday some of our best friends from Texas came to stay with us for a 1 1/2 days. The kids had so much fun. Friends is the main thing that we all miss so much from Texas. Thanks for coming and spending some of your time with us, we greatly appreciate it.


Then today we woke up and Tom's other brother called and they are in town and wanted us to go swimming with them, so of course we did. The kids had a lot of fun and now they are all too exhausted to do anything but lay down (means the house can't get too messy!)

Tomorrow we start the first of 2 weeks in a row of Soccer tournaments!!! Life would be way to boring if we didn't have something going on. But, we do enjoy those moments in life when we have nothing to do but be together as a family!
