Wonderful Christmas!!

Our Christmas seems like it lasted a week. We started out Sunday going to our Campbell Family Christmas party. Where there was of course yummy food, presents and visiting with family we don't see very often. Monday we ended up going up to my parents and spending the night. My parents had bought a cotton candy machine and a popcorn machine. The kids had a blast making their own cotton candy and trying all the differnt seasoning flavors on their popcorn. Wednesday we of course cleaned the house and got ready for Santa to come. Then we went back up to Idaho for our Christmas Eve dinner. In Texas my favorite resturant was Genghis Grill, there isn't one any where close to me. So, my dad came up with the idea to do our own Mongolian Barbeque. Tom and my brother-in-laws were the wonderful chefs who sounded like they were having way too much fun. It was delicious, Thanks Dad!!!!! Then Santa came (he always comes to every house in the town on Christmas Eve to make sure everyone is still being good. Kaden is still terrified of Santa but he did get a little bit closer to him this time before he screamed. Then my parents pulled out this game called "Stuff your Stocking" They had a thing labeled 2-12 filled with prizes. You would roll 2 dice and whatever number you got between the 2 you would get a prize from that section. The kids had a blast (so much Haylie forgot that Santa was coming in a few hours). After that we went home. While on the drive home we heard on the radio that their had been sightings of Santa so hurry and get to bed. Enough said they went to bed as soon as we got home. Then our sweet Haylie decided (with Grandpa's help) that it would be fun to get mom and dad and Kylie up at 4:00 to open presents. The mean parents that we are we made her go back to bed until 5:00. She was in our room at 5:01 ready to go. We woke up the boys and took them down to the tree. Kaden looked at the presents and said "I want to go back to bed" after insisting that he wanted to go back to bed I took him back to bed. Of course as soon as we were in his room he changed his mind and wanted to open presents. The kids had fun opening their presents and playing with them all morning long. Everyone but Kylie had a nap that day, OH How Wonderful!!!! Then my family showed up with more Christmas to open. We have had a wonderful Christmas break thus far and hopefully it will continue. Sorry for babbiling but that is what you get.
I'm so greatful for the Savior and for all that he has done for me and our family. I know that he is always there for us, he answers our prayers and helps guide us through this life. Happy New Year Everyone!!!
